Really nice place outside of town, nice location at the edge of a forrest, shadow provided, which makes it especially great in summer. Playground for small children, forrest adventures for older children and beergarden for adults. Self service, standard food choice with premium quality and adequate prices Always great for a trip with the whole family. Roughly 800m to walk from parking at Peterstirn, 500m from parking at Höllental.

We've actually always enjoyed coming to Almrösl for years, until today. We went into the restaurant to get something to drink outside, but unfortunately we didn't get around to ordering and were rudely dismissed right at the counter by the boss: “We're full. No order possible!” When we asked if we could take something to drink with us, we were simply left standing! It's a shame, we'll remember this tone and manner.

We drove an extra 40km and hiked up. 3pm on Sundays. The innkeeper greets us straight away: we're at capacity, there's no drinking either! Oops, that was tough, wanted to have a drink while standing outside. You don't need it!

Catastrophe, for the third time, 1.5 hours before the end on site and each time there was supposedly nothing left to eat in the house... 2 adults and 3 children... what's that supposed to mean?? Then why is it advertised that there is food continuously until 6 p.m....

That was nothing... €16.50 for Burgundy roast with red cabbage and dumplings: Roast with a watery and tasteless sauce and guaranteed without Burgundy, dumplings made from ready-made dumpling dough, red cabbage warmed up from a jar... that was what "cooking" meant for me. unrelated to. But they are quick...after 5 minutes there were 4 main courses on the table 😆
